About
In celebration of the launch of RANKIN SWAG, we've launched a set of six limited run posters.
RANKIN SWAG DISTORTED
Distorited, created for Hunger Magazine Issue 11, comes from the long term collaboration between the photographer and makeup artist Andrew Gallimore.
Andrew Gallimore and Rankin's creative partnership has seen the pair chart British history through makeup; giving their own take on death masks and embrace blood, guts and gore - unafraid to mix beauty and something more macabre.

Makeup by Andrew Gallimore
Hailed by The Sunday Times STYLE and cool barometer Richard Mortimer’s ponystep.com as the face to watch in the world of make-up artistry, Andrew’s love affair with make-up began whilst studying Interactive Arts at Manchester University.
Andrew chose the face as his specialist subject and on graduation nabbed himself a job as internationally renowned make-up artist, Sharon Dowsett’s No.1 assistant
On going solo, Andrew soon became a regular on shoots for Dazed, Tatler and Elle amongst other publications. His editorial work brought him to the attention of industry legends Patrick Demarchelier, Ellen Von Unwerth and Rankin and soon he was shooting advertising with them. Clients include Jitrois, Bodyshop, Marks and Spencer, Make-up Forever, LK Bennet, Martini and Cartier.
Andrew’s versatility and innate comprehension of a brief have seen him create looks for clients as diverse as Bloomingdales and Beth Ditto.
